Write Blockers

Tableau T356789iu Forensic Universal Bridge

The new Tableau offering  incorporates the typical USB 3.0, SATA/SAS, IDE and firewire you're used to.  Capability to connect PCIe or m.2 AHCI/NVMe SSDs (via included adapter kit) has been added to give you the ability to image the latest in SSDs.  The SATA/SAS connections are run to write-blocked hot-swap bays so evidence drives are secured (and cooled) inside the machine for their protection while imaging.  No more evidence drives hanging outside of the machine at risk!

Logicube Write-Protect Bay

This device has dual SAS/SATA ports, PCIe, USB 3.0 and FireWire source ports, and IDE capability, all of which can be imaging simultaneously!  We've verified this by connecting two drives to the SATA/SAS ports, a USB 3.0 hub to the USB port, then three thumb drives and a USB-to-SATA adapater with another hard drive.  All 6 devices were imaged simultaneously using FTK imager!  The Logicube features its own web interface that can be used to browse connected device, update its firmware and more.  The SATA/SAS connections are run to write-blocked hot-swap bays so evidence drives are secured (and cooled) inside the machine for their protection while imaging.

CRU Wiebetech LabDock U5 - The Wiebetech offers SATA, IDE and USB 2.0 write blocking.  The evidence HDD/SSD fits inside the built-in bay on the front of the Wiebetech to keep it secured while imaging.  Note that choosing this write blocker takes $600 off the price of your workstation.

Additional write blocking options - Other Write Blocking options are available such as external 4-bay write block solutions, and internal 4-bay hot swap solutions if you require more write blocking capacity.  Dedicated write-blocking workstations in tower or rack-mounted form factor are also available and can be configured to send images straight to your network storage.
